The vacancy will occur on October 30, 2025. The remaining balance of the term of office for the vacant position will expire November, 2027.
It is the intention of the remaining members of the Board of Directors to fill said vacancy by appointment. Persons living in Director District 3 (see map attached and on District website) and interested in being considered for appointment should contact the Superintendent, 515-989-5300 and submit a letter of interest addressed to the Carlisle School Board by October 30, 2025. A person so appointed to fill the vacancy shall hold office until a successor is elected and qualified in accordance with law.
The electors of the School District have the right to file a valid petition requiring that the vacancy be filled by a special election.

Director Amy Ramsey submitted her resignation to the CCSD School Board on Monday, October 13, to be effective October 30, 2025, as she is moving out of the school district. We thank Director Ramsey for her sincere dedication to our district, staff, students, and community. Thank you, Amy Ramsey!
